ARTICLE XIII - JURY DUTY
A full-time teacher who is summoned to jury duty will be paid by the
School an amount equal to the difference between the amount of wages the teacher otherwise would have earned by working for the School on that day and the daily jury duty fee paid by the court. Beginning on the third day of jury duty, the teacher may retain the daily jury duty fee paid by the court. Teachers will be expected to work on those days when the jury is not actually in session. In order to receive payment, a teacher must give the School prior notice that he/she has been summoned for jury duty.
